Harry Potter

Forget about Harry Potter in the new movie due out in mere days (July 15, 2009).

Although I am excited to see it, it is not for the Harry Potter character at all. Or Dumbledore or Hagrid. I’ve already read the book, I know how it goes. Oh no, the appeal is just as much as the teen girls’ heart throb in Twilight. But unlike Twilight, there is too little of this character. And who should I be talking about? But Professor Severus Snape, played by the oh so appealing and sexy Alan Rickman.

I know I am not alone in this viewpoint. There are many Snape fan clubs. And it is not for his ambiguous side playing in the series. Oh no. It is mainly other females who just appreciate the low key, understated Alan Rickman performance.

So I know I am not alone in looking forward to the movie, just for some more Snape.

We want more Snape!

More Severus Snape!

It may not be a schoolgirl crush on my part, but I really enjoy seeing Alan Rickman’s acting, and his Snape is quite good, I agree.

I kinda lost track of the books after number 5 or 6 when she took a break and the books got so dang loooong……

Damn straight. Alan Rickman is ridiculously hot and should be featured featured more in the Harry Potter movies. I think, however, the new one will have even more of him. Since you’ve read the book, I think you know why…

BTW, I know this is late but: welcome home!

Oh yes, Carol, that was exactly the photo I had in mind! I remember you showing that one to me one day at work…. go figure why they didn’t want us working there anymore?! šŸ™‚
